An Intimate Wedding Ceremony & Dinner at this Iconic Muskoka Resort

This recognizable Muskoka landmark / resort was the most magical backdrop for Jessica & Bob’s wedding. We’re going back in time a little bit, as this was amidst the pandemic in 2020, and I’m just now blogging about it. Yes, I know it’s the tail end of 2022!

These two have since welcomed a gorgeous set of twin girls into their already trio, keeping every day nothing short of amazing and exhausting.

It’s so nice to be looking at all the weddings we did during COVID, knowing that we’re on the other side of all the unknowns, changing rules & regulations, strict protocols and overwhelm.

Enough of that.

J&B gave us complete creative control over their wedding - we chatted about colour scheme and budget, and then it was literally up to us to not muck it up! Ha! We actually often do this; the trust that clients grant us is so special and the reward and warmth we feel when they see their wedding unfold and come to life is immeasurable. What can I say, we have the best job ever.

Ps. Because of some of the rules that venues were required to follow at this time, we weren’t allowed to have J&B’s first dance on the property, SO, we led the guests down to the public dock and they enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife lakeside. A rule that was annoying at the time, but worked out for the better!
