This sweet Christmas inspired micro wedding was a blast. It’s the bride's favourite season, they got engaged the previous year during the holidays, AND their son celebrated turning one just a few weeks shy of Christmas as well. It’s a magical time for most, and saying “I do” made it that much more special for K&W.

The winter wonderland vision that we were hoping to roll out, didn’t pan out entirely. Instead of the freshly fallen snow we all anticipated on this December weekend, we were met with a drenching-soaking-cold as ice rain. It literally didn’t stop for a second. ALL. DAY. Puddles, trenches, slush and umbrellas replaced the outdoor fire lounge and hot chocolate + champagne bar.

That didn’t stop the fun. It didn’t change the smiles, laughter or love. Life went on and plans pivoted (something we’re all becoming masters of these days).

The warm cottage vibes were humming. It was a hub of activity within the four walls as we set up inside, the ladies primped, and the kids and pooch scurried around with snacks and toys everywhere!

K&W’s guest list consisted of family only | 8 adults, 5 children, and one cute pup. Their wedding day probably mirrored most other gatherings at the cottage - a beautiful chaos of blurry motion, laughter and love - but on this particular day with some elevated attire, decorations, food and drink. You could feel the “extra special” vibes.
