We can’t get enough of winter weddings. As the forecast calls for snow… tomorrow!… we are feeling ALL the feels about our past, present, and future, winter weddings in Muskoka.

Cottage country is notable for its summer activities, abundance of lakes, social scene, and picturesque environment. Don’t get me wrong, I love summer in Muskoka, however; I love winter and all that it has to offer JUST as much, if not more. Winter is highly underrated and undervalued in Muskoka…

Muskoka literally becomes a winter wonderland between December and March. The blanket of snow creates such an ammmmmazing scene. We get pretty amped up when couples see this beauty, and connect with us about getting married up here. There are endless possibilities for locations, design, cute photos and beautiful landscapes.

We wanted to throw it back to a fun shoot we styled at the JW Marriott The Rosseau. Can you feel the crisp air on your face? Can you taste the hot chocolate? What about the warmth and smell of the bonfire?

We challenge you (really it’s not a challenge… more of an encouragement!) to think outside the box and use Muskoka as the backdrop for your winter wedding or elopement!
